Detailed Rules and Requirements

Scoot for Good promotes safe and responsible scootering and organizes scooter rides on public roads and highways for the benefit of its members and guests (“Rides”).  Participants in Rides must sign this Rider Acknowledgement, Waiver & Release prior to participation in the Ride as the operator of a motorized scooter or other permitted motorized two-wheel vehicle (each, a “Scooter”) or a passenger of a motorized Scooter.

What To Bring

In order to go on a Classic Ride or Neighborhood Ride, each participant must be 18 years or older. One person per scooter. Helmet is required and is provided to everyone for no additional charge. All prices are subject to change. Availability is limited. Prices are in USD.

A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE and MAJOR CREDIT CARD. (Sorry, We do not accept PayPal eChecks.) For insurance liability reasons, you must be 18 years of age or older in order to ride with a guide. Everyone must have a valid driver’s license.  A $350 deposit will be required per scooter. This will serve as a hold on your credit card as you will be Responsible for any Damage done to the scooter. You will be required to sign a Scoot for Good Rider Acknowledgment , Waiver & Release form. EYE PROTECTION.  Required! Your eyes are your most valuable sense. Sunglasses or prescription glasses will prevent dust particles and other hazards from entering your eyes while riding. If you forget or do not have eye protection, then you will be required to purchase some before we can release the scooter to you. FOOTWEAR.  Required! – Sneakers, boots, closed-toe shoe. - No sandals or flip-flops.

EYE PROTECTION.  Required! Your eyes are your most valuable sense. any type of eyewear will prevent dust particles and other hazards from entering your eyes while riding.

(In case of quick weather change, its recommended to bring the following:) 1) JACKET & PANTS.  Recommended but not required. – Protect your skin from the elements by wearing jeans or pants. – Wear brightly colored clothing to help others see you. 2) GLOVES.  Recommended but not required. Even on hot days, wear gloves to help with grip. 3) Camera, Sunscreen, etc…

Bring A Few Things

In order to rent a scooter from us, each renter must be 21 years or older. One person per scooter. Helmet is required and is provided to everyone for no additional charge. All prices are subject to change. Availability is limited. Prices are in USD.

Additional Information

You are responsible for all parking citations, and any unpaid parking citations will be dealt with according to law and an additional $25 late/processing fee.

If you lose the scooter key, there will be a $50 replacement fee.
